Our Mission

Lions are known as "knights of the blind;" our primary mission is programs and services for the blind and visually impaired. We aim to eliminate preventable and reversible blindness, but we also participate in more wide-reaching community health programs and projects. We are once again the recipient of the Certificate of Excellence Award 2023 from Lions International for focusing our efforts each on the Environment, Youth, Diabetes, and Hunger.
